Le Concours de Vocabulaire / Vocabulary Competition

The well anticipated and well participated vocabulary competition was held in the hall of the St. Andrew High School (for girls) on Friday , May 18, 2018. In both the junior and senior categories eight (8) schools vied for the title of Champions. The competition was stiff as students were evidently prepared for the challenge. This competition had five categories and a little sweet intermission that involved a student from Ardenne High singing for us in French of course. This year there was a small change in the Mime category and so the miming was done by one person for all schools. Miss Ronique Small did her best miming .

Special Thanks to our Judges that used their super lightning powers to score all the categories , choosing themes and also listening to students while they spelt in their best French accents. Our wonderful audience were students supporting their mates and their motivating French teachers/coaches. Photos will be featured in our gallery on this site and on our facebook page.
